Royal Oak Holiday Magic Parade
The Downtown Development Authority presents the Fifth Annual Holiday Magic Parade at 10am. More than 20,000 are expected to visit Santas First Stop in Metro Detroit!
Guests will enjoy early bird Parade Day specials from shops and restaurants beginning at 8am and free samples of coffee will be provided by Starbucks. Various childrens choirs and bands will help warm up the crowds and, at 10am, the Holiday Magic Spectacular Parade will proceed north on Washington, from Lincoln to Fourth, turn left and end at Fourth and Lafayette.
The forty-five unit parade combines the best of traditional parades with a Royal Oak twist: marching bands, dance troupes, funky floats and inflatables, grand Parade Company floats, and professional performing artists will sing holiday jazz, funk, blues and rock songs.
