October is here which means it's time to get out the sweaters, play some football and celebrate beer. Yes that's right it's Oktoberfest season so why not head out and celebrate this German tradition right here in Michigan.
Although officially Oktoberfest usually takes place in September, there's still a number of unique and fun places around town perfect for clinking stines and singing along at anytime!

Jacoby's German Biergarten has also been serving up German favorites for more than 100 years. Located in the heart of Bricktown, Jacoby's is also a hot spot for live music and was recently a celebrity favorite for the cast and crew of Whip It.
A short drive away to Ann Arbor will bring you to the Old Heidelberg with its traditional fare and Alpine ambiance you'll have a great time every time you visit.
Or why not try Richter's Chalet in Dearborn. This Michigan Avenue staple serves up hearty meals and offers a selection of imported German beer and wine you won't find anywhere else. Don't forget to taste one of the many delicious desserts!
