Hurrying to get inside from the cold winter weather, I was greeted by not only a warm temperature, but a warm environment. The cozy and quaint home of Elizabeth's from Head to Toe is friendly and inviting down to every last detail.

Originally, Touch Salon and Spa, Elizabeth Arsov's newest endeavor is smaller and more streamlined than her last project. Upon her ending lease agreement, Arsov realized it was time for a change. Her then partner, Barbara Deyo, and her decided to split ways and found that this was the perfect opportunity to open up individual businesses.

Arsov was introduced to the industry at a very young age. She grew up with a barber for a grandfather and began doing freelance makeup at only 19 years old. With her partner, she formed Bold Face Makeup, which was a subdivision within Red Salon in Birmingham. Soon after, they opened Touch Salon where they were co-owners and make-up artists.

With a clean slate and a fist full of ambition, Arsov created Elizabeth's Head to Toe in the same spot where Touch Spa once was. The shop is comfortable and welcoming with services from manicures and pedicures, facials and make-up lessons to massages and waxing.


Hands-on and approachable can best define both the store itself and its owner. Arsov speaks with ease about the ups and downs of owning a business with a humble attitude that explains why she is so successful.

Leaving Elizabeth's, I felt as though I had just visited a good friend. Arsov didn't even let me leave empty handed as she insisted I try out a lip balm they had just got in. A true hostess, and as a mere bystander, I can only imagine she treats her customers as kindly as she treated me. Elizabeth's from Head to Toe and from heart to soul.
