Win Big!
The new MGM Grand opened its doors to the public last week. This 400 room luxury hotel and casino in the heart of Detroit brings a Vegas style casino experience to the Motor City.
The establishment houses three upscale restaurants, Wolfgang Grill, Saltwater and Bourbon Steak. MGM has also kept its award winning buffet, Pallet. There is also a cigar bar appropriately named Ignite.
Additionally, the MGM has a spa for all things pampering including: pedicures, manicures and massages. Hair salons and stylists are also available for guests of the hotel.
The hotel features fine shopping; Dolce Gabbana, Gucci, Rolex and Christian Lacroix are some of the retailers that will be available.
Four bars: Agua, Int Ice, U-Me-Drink and V are all close to the large gaming section. Agua is a bar with a Brazilian flare. Int Ice will have live entertainment on weekends. V is a nightclub that will also have live performances. U-Me-Drink is the central lounge bar in the gaming area.
Test Your Luck!
Rooms at the hotel will start at $300 a night. Every room has a 42 inch plasma television. Room service and wake up calls can be accessed electronically.
People staying at the MGM will enjoy views of the downtown Detroit skyline, and the penthouse suite has a view of the Ambassador Bridge.
So what are you waiting for? Who needs to book a flight to Sin City when you can have it all in your own hometown.
