When Can You Call Her?
It's happened to everybody. You meet this girl, you think she's great and you get her number. You're happy, but this presents a new problem. When should you call?
Call the next day and you'll seem way too desperate. Wait a week or two and she'll think you've lost interest. Neither of these is a good scenario. The word on the street is that two or three days is a pretty good benchmark.
But why have all of these rules? Personally, I think they're ridiculous. If you like somebody enough, calling the next day should not be out of the question.
Even more than that, it wouldn't kill the girl to make the first call every once in a while. It'd be a breath of fresh air for guys. The mental anguish that comes with these silly timing games is about as fun as rush hour traffic in a snowstorm. However, if you tell her you'll call her it remains your responsibility to do so.
There should be no set rules. People think about this far too much, when what it basically boils down to is this: If a guy likes a girl, he should call her. If a girl likes a guy, she should call him. If it's mutual, the other party will not mind, no matter when it happens. If it's not mutual, then nothing was ever going to work out in the first place.
