The Hilarious Jeff Dwoskin
West Bloomfield based comedian Jeff Dwoskin took the stage Wednesday night at the City Theatre as part of the hilarious Young American Comedy Tour.
Growing up in Farmington Hills, Jeff always enjoyed making people laugh. "I think we all love to make people laugh," he said. "I just realized I was good at it!"
He got the chance to pursue his dream of life as a comic 6 years ago after he was laid off from a job.
Jeff took some classes at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle and has been leaving people in stitches with his stand-up ever since.
"What people forget about comedy is that it is really a great evening out. Especially now with the world seeming to fall down around us. It's great to get out there and laugh," Jeff said.
This was Jeff's second performance with the Young American Comedy Tour. He was there spinning laughs when the show first came through town back in September.
He's excited to be back with the tour and encourages comedy fans to check it out because, "It's a hilarious line-up. It's a really good group. Everyone's great... And it's right there at Hockeytown so if you hate it you can go get drunk afterwards." he laughed.
Jeff performs regularly throughout Metro Detroit and Windsor. "Detroit happens to have a bunch of really good clubs in Ann Arbor, Livonia, Royal Oak. It's a great place to be spreading the word of comedy."
