What is your ideal idea of a first date? My ideal first date would be to dine outdoors while overlooking the ocean on a warm summer evening with a great bottle of wine - somewhere offering a rich cultural experience - and to which this would only mark the beginning of the night, not the end. The passion for the moment would be shared and obviously the chemistry between us ignited. Intellectual conversation as well as absolute silliness would permeate everything we do and we would be encapsulated by the evening so much so that time just slips by.
Your ideal match would be someone who....is goal oriented, thoughtful and affectionate. Someone that may or may not share similar passions but understands passion. An ideal date would be someone who likes to have fun but doesn't equate fun with going to the local club/bar only. An intelligent woman is a definite turn on for me. I think the keyword here is "Adventure". Life is an adventure and I love taking the path less traveled. I love to experience life in such a way that there is always a story to tell (to your friends or to future grandchildren) and you're still wearing a smile the next morning because of it.

Your friends would describe you as someone who....is balanced regarding most issues in life. They would say I have a good sense of humor and I always enjoy a good laugh. I like to have fun in unique ways but I also enjoy staying in and watching movies when the mood is right.
I believe it would be difficult for someone to describe me as any specific stereotype because I find that most of my interests traverse a wide-spectrum of ideas and passions. For instance, I am Detroit Lions fan (painfully enough to have been a season ticket holder for over ten years) yet I can appreciate the fine arts, attending many different styles of events.
Actually, I love live events. Summer concerts at DTE are the best! I enjoy exploring my (amateur) palette for wine with an excellent meal, but an occasional quality beer with a burger can be just as exciting. I love to travel and am an experienced traveler. European and Asian countries as well as the South Pacific make up most of my international itinerary but I have traveled stateside extensively as well. Even so, there is still so much more to see of this world.
