Find the Perfect Length
Should you trim your own bangs? Most hair stylists would be screaming no! But sometimes a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, which may include trimming an annoying eyelash skimming fringe.
Make sure not to cut off a blunt, straight across line and instead point your scissors upward into your fringe. Using the tips take tiny snips along the hair taking out a little bit of weight at a time.
If you're doing this while your hair is wet be sure to remember that hair shrinks up when it dries. Also, keep in mind not to put too much tension on the hair by pulling it.
If you do end up with a funky fringe this might be a good time to invest in some cute headbands and scarves.
