Fashion Week is Back!
It's that time of year when beautiful couture creations are showcased in the Motor City. Detroit Fashion Week is Michigan's only fashion industry event in which independent designers from across the U.S. gather and present their seasonal lines to buyers.
Presenting Spring/Summer '09, Urban, Ready to Wear, Evening and Bridal Couture over the course of seven day events, runway shows, presentations and industry hosted after parties. All shows feature at least three to five designers. With an upscale audience, VIPs, press, buyers and fashion industry professionals, Detroit Fashion Week has proven to put Michigan on the map in Midwest fashion industry events.
Detroit Fashion Week and Royal Oak In Style kicks off Saturday Sept. 27 with exciting designer trunk shows, fshion shows, salon deals, giveaways and more in Royal Oak.
Detroit Fashion Week then bursts with couture shows in Detroit at
Campus Martius October 2-4. During this entire week there will be a series of VIP receptions, parties and charity events at some of Downtown Detroit's hottest clubs and restaurants. Don't miss the DFW model search winner announced and our first Dior makeup artist competition.
But if it's an after party filled with slinky models and great martinis that you're after, then be sure to head to D'Amato's Restaurant in Royal Oak. Open to the public at 11 p.m. with D.J. Urban Kris and performances by Franki Venee, this after glow is sure to be the place to be on Saturday September 27.
