Find Your Last Minute Look
So per usual it's down to the wire and you still don't have a Halloween costume. Don't worry believe it or not you can pull something together in less than 24 hours and not break the bank.
The first rule is don't even waste your time at the Halloween specialty stores or major national chains. They will all be picked over and you'll waste a ton of time trying to find something that not only fits but that you are willing to wear all night long.
You're going to have to get creative to pull this off. Your local resale shop or Salvation Army is always a great place to start.
Check them out and see what you find. You can never go wrong with compiling a completely random outfit and going as someone who stepped out of the '70s people crack up every time.
Or why not go as your best friend? Raid his or her closet and grab their most signature looks. Classic rocker t-shirt, ancient Pumas and a box of cereal perhaps? Chances are you'll be at a party with all people who know him or her and will definitely be a hit.
Or just grab an old sheet and cut tons of holes in it to be the ghost from It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. It's super cute and nostalgic and your friends will totally love it.
Recycle a costume from previous years. I know we always like to pick something new but really is it worth all the money? And most of your friends will have been too drunk to remember what your wore in the first place.
It's not too late and sometimes the best ideas come under the wire. So get out there and have some fun this Halloween!
