ALLEY TACO EXPANDS IN MIDTOWN

ALLEY TACO EXPANDS IN MIDTOWN

What’s better than five tacos for $5 on Taco Tuesday? Five tacos for $5 on Taco Tuesday at Alley Taco’s new Midtown location. Alley Taco has moved and expanded to 418 W. Willis St.

Everyone knows of Alley Taco from their days inside of Marcus Market and since their launch there in 2013, they’ve been feeding the lunch, dinner and late night crowd. Their expansion offers more of an opportunity to serve and host their loyal customers and newcomers. They’re located right next door to the Willis Street Avalon Bakery.

The restaurant has a California-style Mexican street food-type menu, with inexpensive options and no-frills. For $7.95 you can pick from a Quesadilla Suzi, Burrito, Bowl-Ritto, 3 Taco Combo, Crispy Taco Combo, Mexi-Melt, Torta or Nachos, and from there, you can choose your meat, veggies and salsa. Each meal also comes with chips and salsa on the side.

Alley Taco offers smoked pork, crispy shrimp, crispy fish, carne asada, taco beer, chorizo, chicken and more to go inside your Alley Taco creation. Most of their menu is cooked in-house and they work alongside local farms and purveyors for the freshest local ingredients. Aside from the food options, you can order a Mexican Coke or a Horchata Slushy to add to your meal.

Now, Alley Taco has enough space where you can eat inside, and not just at their bar stool like before. Their indoor space can seat about 40 people and they’ve got additional outdoor seating on their Willis Street patio.

The space will be open each day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and extended hours are to follow.
