NEW CAUCUS CLUB DEBUTS DOWNTOWN

The old and well known Caucus Club in Detroit opened in the 50s, closed in 2012, and reopened this spring with a classic and sophisticated look and menu, and a new take on the iconic bullshot. George Sboukis leased the space in the Penobscot Building and plans to make the Caucus Club a friendly, relaxing and accommodating place for all guests.

MOVEMENT 2017 PARTY GUIDE

Movement Electronic Music Festival, scheduled May 27-29, is back again at Hart Plaza with entertainment to pack your Memorial Day Weekend. Movement go-ers can purchase 3-day passes, 1 day passes or VIP passes for the festival and experience it all across six different stages with both live performances and DJ sets. The headliners of the festival this year are Richie Hawtin, Test Pilot and Carl Cox. Other big names include Adam Beyer, Danny Brown, Earl Sweatshirt, Thundercat and Juicy J. BORO RESALE OPENS IN EASTERN MARKET

Joe Flores, a professional chef of 13 years, makes his return to the restaurant scene–after a hiatus–under the new role of Peterboro’s Executive Chef. Flores touched down at Peterboro in early May 2017 in place of former chef Brion Wong.

QLINE SET TO LAUNCH WITH WEEKEND FESTIVITIES

It’s here! The QLINE we’ve heard so much about these past few years launches their passenger service on Friday, May 12. Seniors and Medicaid recipients are able to ride the QLINE for 75 cents and general walk-up fare is priced at $1.50. Passengers are able to ride the QLINE an unlimited amount of times for three hours from the time of fare purchase.
