4 Best Places To Brunch On Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 12th and it’s not too late to plan the perfect brunch. Here are a few ideas that you’ll love and may not need to wait to eat at.

Stache International // Eastern Market

Take mom out for a meal that’s quirky, casual and delicious. Trade pancakes for funnel cakes, try a brown sugar bourbon wings and don’t skip the Bloody Mary + Tequila Mimosa Bar – Stache’s menu offers options as unique as mom and she’s sure to love it. Sunday hours: 11am to 3pm

Lumen Detroit // Downtown

Lumen has teamed up with Beacon Park to offer an extra special day for mom. Indulge in their special brunch menu and then head outside to take a spin on Los Trompos, play some games at the Beacon Parkade or get a chair massage courtesy The Woodhouse Day Spa. Sunday hours: 11am to 2pm

Kresge Court // Midtown

Explore the galleries of the DIA and then sit down in Kresge Court to play catch up. The casual service restaurant offers drinks, cheese and charcuterie, gourmet snacks, sandwiches, salads and dessert. Admission to the Detroit Institute of Arts is free to residents of Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. Sunday hours: 10am to 4:30pm

Cork and Gabel // Corktown

Try something new, in the neighborhood that is big in the news. Cork & Gabel opened earlier this year, is located in front of Ford’s Michigan Central Train Station and it’s the perfect place to show mom the ‘New Detroit’.  Sunday hours: 10am to 2pm
