5 Can't Miss Detroit Happy Hours

5 Can’t Miss Detroit Happy Hours

Lady of the House joined the Happy Hour game this week (Tuesday – Friday starting at 4:30pm) and we’re excited to try it. If you’re looking for a new place to unwind after work, here are some of our favorite Happy Hours around town.

800 Woodward Ave
Happy Hour: Monday – Friday // 3-6pm
HOUR Detroit’s Restaurant of the year is at the epicenter of action in Detroit. The restaurant sits next to the fountain at Campus Martius, allowing you to enjoy the sites and sounds of downtown – not to mention $7 food and drink specials.

1128 Washington Blvd
Happy Hour: Monday – Friday // 4:30pm – 6:30pm (bar only)
Not too long ago Roast was the hottest restaurant in town and the half off Happy Hour was the talk of the town. As Detroit as blossomed into a foodie city, Roast gets a little less love but Michael Symon’s restaurant remains one of the best in town.

The Republic

1942 Grand River
Happy Hour: Tuesday – Thursday // 4pm -6pm + Fridays // 5pm – 7pm
Feel like a king after work, go to The Republic in the GAR Building for $5 drinks and delicious discounted shared plates (prices range from $5-12).

Redd Dunn Kitchen

1331 Trumbull Ave
Happy Hour: Daily // 4pm -6:30pm
Escape the hustle and bustle of downtown and head to Trumbull + Porter in Corktown. Redd Dunn Kitchen’s Happy Hour offers half off drinks and select appetizers with the convenience of free parking.

1215 Griswold St.
Happy Hour: Monday // all day + Tuesday – Friday // 3-6pm
Take a seat on Eatori’s new patio in Capitol Park and see downtown’s up and coming neighborhood come to life. Enjoy discounted drinks and $7 food specials or $3 oysters.
