While we’re losing an old favorite, we’re gaining a new one. Popular local chef, Kate Williams opens her newest endeavor this week. Karl’s is located in the Siren Hotel and takes a diner meal to a whole new level.

For 40 years the Detroit Jazz Festival has been filling the streets of Detroit with the soulful jazz for four days of festival fun.

Don’t miss the Labor Day Festival in Hamtramck. The annual festival brings carnival rides, live music and epic canoe races down Joseph Campau!

September is Design Month in Detroit. Preview the projects, special events and see what’s happening in the city at Detroit Design 139 at 1001 Woodward.
