5 Things To Do This Weekend

5 Things To Do This Weekend

The cool weather is coming and fall fun! Here are some fun things to do this weekend inside and out of the city.

The Dally in the Alley is Saturday! There will be good food, great music, plenty of beer and awesome people. Check out our list of the 5 performances you don’t want to miss.

September is Design Month in Detroit. This weekend check out exhibits at Shinola and the A. Alfred Taubman Center, listen to Afrofuturist artist Osborne Macharia and Nairobi-based singer-songwriter ‘Blinky’ Bill Sellanga at the Charles H. Wright Museum, and participate in a workshop at Green Veteran House in southwest Detroit.

Looking for something new in Detroit? Kiesling is welcoming Khana – a Pakistani pop-up – on Friday night and Gabriel Hall is hosting a pop-up at Nancy Whiskey Pub on Sunday.

Fall means farmers market and Eastern Market is the place to be. Get groceries, grab a bite to eat, and admire the new Murals in the Market. If you can’t get enough Eastern Market, enter to win tickets to Tour De Fork in Shed 3 on Thursday, September 13th in support of The Children’s Center in Detroit.

What’s fall without donuts and cider? Get out the city and out to an orchard or cider mill in metro Detroit.
