CHEESY PASTA SPOT HITS BROADWAY STREET

CHEESY PASTA SPOT HITS BROADWAY STREET

Downtown’s Broadway Street just gained every carb lovers dream – a build-your-own pasta bar. I Luv Cheese, the new spot to indulge, is operated by chef Omar Mitchell of Great Lakes Burger Bar.

This fast-Italian concept debuts a menu packed with options. Prices are moderate, with snacks like Mac & Cheese Fire Balls and Spinach & Artichoke Cheese Dip starting at $6. Guests can also order off the salad side of the menu, with classics like Caesar, and local creations like the Eastern Market, made with baby spinach, mandarin oranges, applewood bacon, bleu cheese drizzle and a warm balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

The menu also includes craft cheesy sandwiches, like the Grilled Cheese with Bourbon Onions or the Mama Mucci Meatball. And as for the pasta, each dish comes with a side of Old World Crusty Flat Bread and comes with your choice of grilled ahi tuna steak, firecracker shrimp, cilantro and garlic salmon, honey glazed chicken tenders and many more protein options. Vegetarians can also enjoy the Grilled Tofu.

As you go through the journey of ways to make your pasta a dream meal, you can choose your own sauce-marinara, alfredo, cheese, pesto, truffle oil-and add some herbs and other dressings to it, like a fried egg.

Sharp cheddar, mozzarella, stella blue, smoked gouda, shredded parmesan, swiss, goat, feta, ricotta and vegan cheeses are available to take it to the next level.

I Luv Cheese also serves craft soda, raw juices, fruit smoothies and milkshakes, like the Faygo Orange Creamsicle and the Butter Pecan Delight.

The space’s interior incorporates a lively feel with bright cheesy colored walls, bright red accents and simple lighting.

All of the ingredients used to mix up the pasta and other menu offerings are purchased locally.

You can view the full menu of milkshakes, cheesy dishes and more here.
