Downtown Street Eats – St. Patrick’s Day Edition

It’s a party weekend downtown – St. Patrick’s Day, Round 1 of the NCAA tournament and the return of Downtown Street Eats on Friday!

Start the weekend early, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with with Irish-themed food and fun at four parks and public spaces across Downtown.  There will be 10 trucks, each offering a twist on an Irish-inspired dish or two. Don’t miss the Irish whiskey wings from SOUPDIVE and stout-braised short ribs by Hero or Villain.

Detroit Street Eats is runs Friday, March 16th from 11am to 2pm

Featuring: Green Puffy Tacos

Shepherd’s Pie Bowl: Ground beef and lamb, stewed vegetables, brown gravy, topped with garlic mashed potatoes
Paddy Bowl: Guinness-braised corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes, topped with a thyme mustard sauce
