Garden Party on Belle Isle

It’s the perfect close to a beautiful summer. Join us for The Garden Party on Belle Isle! We invite you to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeurves as Ben Sharkey and the Grunyons set the mood with “a colorful fusion of old school cool, contemporary jazz, soul and pop”. Explore the botanical collection of the Conservatory and gardens, adorned by a special sculpture installation created by artist Craig Mitchell Smith whose work has been featured across the U.S., including the Epcot Center at Disney World.

Since 2007 the Garden Party has hosted a beautiful evening soiree at the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory + Gardens, raising funds specifically for various improvements to the grounds and the facility. Don’t miss this picturesque evening of mixing and mingling with supporters of the botanical wonders the Conservatory houses! Organized by leaders of the Grosse Pointe area’s garden club communities, the Garden Party raises funds for various projects that specifically benefit the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory. Held in a beautiful tent on the grounds of the Conservatory, the evening features cocktails, hors d’oeurves, musical entertainment by Ben Sharkey, an art installation, and networking with supporters of the botanical wonders the Conservatory houses.

NEW this year is a $50 Bud Level ticket, for guests ages 35 & under.

This year’s funds will go towards improvements in the interior of the Conservatory.
