Misty Copeland will perform on February 8th and 11th.

Following sold–out performances of The Sleeping Beauty two years ago, American Ballet Theatre returns with one of their signature productions. The Shakespeare tragedy of star-crossed lovers comes to life in this rich and sensual interpretation by Kenneth MacMillan. Sergei Prokofiev’s instantly recognizable music underscores the lyric beauty and passion of this beloved ballet. Presented in partnership with University Musical Society.

Stephen Lord – “This work, which I saw many years ago with Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev, was a revelation for me artistically. Sometimes, music and dance alone can speak emotionally much louder than words.”
