On Monday, November 20, The Peacock Room will host a benefit with proceeds benefitting Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation (CHMF) and Enough SAID.
A pre-event panel will look at “The State of the City: Women and Children” from 5:30-6:30 p.m. with Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy; Carolyn Cassin, CEO of Michigan Women’s Foundation; and Lawrence J. Burns, President and CEO of the CHMF in the new second floor Fisher Building space of CHMF. Moderated by Nancy Kaffer, Detroit Free Press.
From 6:00-9:00 p.m., the Peacock Room will be open for the first time for shopping and a reception. Sponsors include Lot 40 and Detroit Classic Car Rental.
VIP tickets that include the panel are $150 and tickets for The Peacock Room reception only are $75.
