Everything You Need To Know About Mo Pop 2019

Get excited, indie music fans! MoPop Festival returns to West Riverfront Park July 27 & 28 with more great food, more local artists, and of course more great music.  Here is everything you need to know about the summer music festival.

 

Music

Musicians spanning numerous genres will be taking to the Mo Pop stages throughout the festival.  From more established acts such as Tame Impala or Vampire Weekend, to newcomers such as Snail Mail or Wallows, this year’s lineup is not one to disappoint.

Arrive to the festival early for signing sessions.  Schedules are released each day, so be sure to keep an eye out for your favorite!

Food & Drink

The best of the Detroit food scene will be at Mo Pop this year.  Be sure to stop by The Shipyard or Food Truck Rally Alley for a local favorite.  Returning to Mo Pop this year is Mo Brews; a locally brewed blend made special for Mo Pop!

 

Fun & Games

Need a break from the concert crowd?  Enjoy an afternoon of old school fun at the Mo Arcade, featuring a collection of games from Off World Arcade.  Video games not your thing?  Dance the night away at Haute 2 Death– Detroit’s most stylish dance party; or go head to head with your friends on the Detroit Dart Club battlefield.

 

Arts & Crafts

Find something uniquely Detroit to take home with you at the Craft Bazaar.  Handmade goods created by Detroit’s most talented artisans will be available for purchase.


Parking

For those driving to Mo Pop, single day or weekend parking passes are available for purchase.  Paid lots are also available near the venue, but fill up quickly.  Those biking to the festival can store their bikes in the free and safe bicycle parking provided by Detroit Bikes.  Concert goers also have the option to take the People Mover to the Joe Louis Arena stop, and walk one mile to the festival site.
