Kacee Must, 31, of Bloomfield Hills, has been practicing yoga since she was 12 years-old and now she’s opened two of her own studios, one in Royal Oak and the other in Detroit, and they go by the well-known name of Citizen Yoga.

TOMMEY WALKER, DETROIT VS EVERYBODY

Tommey Walker, a native Detroiter and the man behind the brand DETROIT VS EVERYBODY, plans to open up his third apparel shop and second location in Eastern Market by August. DETROIT VS EVERYBODY has exploded internationally since the official Detroit debut nearly three years ago and has since gained attention from big names like Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Big Sean, Drake, Nas and more.

On a nice summer night, you can hear the DJ spinning and the party happening at what has become a summer (and now a year round) Greektown favorite for music, drinks and a fun time! For those of you who have enjoyed the scene at Exodos Rooftoop & Lounge in Greektown, you can thank Yanni Dionisopoulos, co-owner, and his cousin, Speros Dionisopoulos, for bringing a little bit of Greece back to Greektown.

As a Seattle native and a Detroit believer, Roslyn Karamoko, the mind behind the brand Détroit is the New Black, started her current gig in the city by a simple t-shirt.

JOEY MAALOUF, THE GLAM APP

Joey Maalouf, metro Detroit native and hair and makeup stylist, is co-founder of a new app called The Glam App, which allows customers to schedule a hair, nail or makeup appointment to their door. Customers can schedule day-of and have a stylist at their house within an hour of scheduling, or they can book the appointment well in advance.
