St. Patrick’s Day is Saturday, March 17th but the Corktown festivities kick off on Sunday, March 11th – that’s right you have a whole week of reasons to get lucky, eat corned beef and drink green beer.

The Saint Patrick’s Parade Corktown Races has become one of the largest 5k races in Michigan. In addition to attracting more people to the parade, the race is a vehicle for raising funds for the Saint Patrick’s Senior Center.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade // Corktown // March 11 @ 12:30pm
Corktown starts filling up for tailgating, beer tents, and the race at 7am and culminates with the parade down Michigan Avenue with a marching pipe and drum band, color guard units, floats, clowns, and more.

Briggs is bringing the party with their St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans, starting early at 7 a.m. They’ll have $10 green beer pitchers, $5 Tullamore Dew shots, $5 Shamrock Islands, and $3 green tea shots. Briggs will also have local DJs there for your entertainment. No cover. 21+.
