HATCH 2016 SEMI-FINALISTS READY FOR PUBLIC VOTING 0 0 0

The top 10 semi-finalists in this year’s Comerica Hatch Detroit contest have been announced, which means the public now has the opportunity to vote for their favorites up until August 18. The 10 semi-finalists are competing to win $50,000 from Comerica Bank to help open a brick and mortar location in the Detroit area.

Hatch Detroit is a Michigan based nonprofit organization that supports and champions independent retail businesses in the Detroit-area through funding, exposure, education and mentoring. Nick Gorga founded Hatch Detroit in 2011 and has since helped grow a number of city favorites – including, Hugh, La Feria, Batch Brewing, Sister Pie and Live Cycle Delight.

So without further ado…here are your 2016 semi-finalists:

  • Brut Detroit plans to operate as Grandmont Rosedale’s spot for wine, with approachable, affordable wine tasting events and a wine bar.
