It’s that time again! Detroit loves its baseball and a good party, so Opening Day events are HUGE! We’ve rounded up a list of tent parties, game-fueled events, special beer launches, radio promotions and more for your choosing. Prepare for the return of Tigers Baseball!

Opening Day Party @ Town Pump Tavern, 8 a.m., 100 W. Montcalm St.
The Town Pump Tavern plans to celebrate the Tigers by way of a giant Opening Day party. The Town Pump plans to have their full bar running, a big heated tent outside, barbecue, big TVs and more. Detroit Home Opener Festival @ 9 a.m., 440 Madison St.
The annual Detroit Home Opener Festival is back! The day-long event includes heated party tents, open-air party patios, DJs, live bands, entertainment, private tailgate chalets, festival games, VIP onsite parking, food, apparel and more. The city’s only annual hot dog eating contest is also scheduled for the day. Craig Jelinek, Jody Haddad, Mike Anthony, Brian Jeffries and more are set to host the festival. Opening Day @ The Belt: 10am – 8pm at The Belt Alley
Join in the fun of Opening Day in The BELT, an art filled alley located in downtown Detroit between Broadway and Library Street. Music by DJ’s Frankie Banks and Dante Lasalle. Beer, cocktails and food will be available for purchase while you hang out with friends before, during, and after the Tigers game. Click for event details.

Opening Day at Santorini @ 10 a.m., 501 Monroe St.
Festivities at Santorini are slated to begin at 10 a.m. with DJ Chris B spinning early, food and drink specials, a slew of flat screen TVs and more. Not to mention, the cover is free! Join in on the fun before or after the game. Click here for event details.

Opening Day @ Exodus Rooftop, 9 a.m., 529 Monroe St.
The big bash includes covered and heated indoor and outdoor rooftop tents are available with a live broadcast of the Opening Day game with beer tubs, a full premium bar, Exodus authentic barbecue and more. Firebird Tavern’s favorite Opening Day tent is back! Detroit Sports 1051 is slated to broadcast live from the event while the event itself is sponsored by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Red Bull, Miller Lite and Three Olives Vodka. 101 WRIF Viewing Party @ 7 a.m. 2115 Woodward Ave.
The return of the Tigers is back! The Opening Day pre-game headquarters is better known as The Fillmore and their viewing party with free admission starts at 7 a.m. and the shindig is for all ages. If you’re not headed to the game, The Fillmore invites you to stay and watch the game on their giant HD screen. Click here for event details.

Biggest Ever Home Opener @ Cheli’s Chili Bar Detroit, 7 a.m., 47 E. Adam Ave.
Cheli’s Chili Bar Detroit features over 30,000 feet of partying at their Biggest Ever Home Opener party starting at 7 a.m. Cheli’s doesn’t require a cover right away but they do establish one to maintain the crowd when things start picking up (always capped at $20). Detroit Tigers Opening Day @ The Park Bar, 8 a.m., 2040 Park Ave.
The Park Bar promises two floors of partying and 48 beers on draft for their Opening Day celebration. Motor City Brewing Works, Shorts, Dark Horse, Atwater and more are available on draft for guests with live music all day and GoGo’s Hawaiian Street food available with a limited menu. Opening Day 2016 @ Grand Trunk Pub, 9 a.m., 612 Woodward Ave.
Grand Trunk Pub is hosting their annual Opening Day party where they team up with New Holland Brewing for your delight. An exclusive New Holland Tap event is planned for Opening Day with additional game day specials and a new craft beer-inspired cocktail menu.

Ultimate Tailgate Party @ 10 a.m., 700 Randolph St.
The Ultimate Tailgate Party is scheduled for Opening Day and benefits go toward the Wayne Westland Firefighters Charity Fund and the Great Lakes Burn Camp. A live performance from Sponge and Monster Energy BMX bike stunt shows are scheduled for the day, including food, a full bar and more. The first 200 people are slated to receive a free Sponge EP, donuts and coffee. Opening Day @ Harry’s Detroit @ 7am, 2482 Clifford Street
While most places charge cover to partake in celebrating one of the Motor City’s most beloved spring rituals, admission is free for this event. Tigers fans can get the party started early with doors opening at 7 a.m. The festivities will be broadcast live on 93.9 The River from Harry’s Detroit, 2482 Clifford St., with music provided by Painted White and DJ Just Nick.
