Voyager is bringing a new raw bar to Ferndale and set to open with seafood, oysters and more this Thursday, March 16th at 4pm.

When you walk into the space, you’ll see a raw bar that serves up oysters, ceviches and crudos, and a matching sea aesthetic with bright whites, coral and mermaid aqua for a splash of color. The oysters can be ordered on the half shell, fried, grilled or dressed, and the oyster program is run by experts who procure them from seaside shellfish farms in Massachusetts, Alabama and Washington.

You can order from the plates section of the menu, which features a Pickled Seafood Cocktail, made of sherry, celery, red onion and saltines, Frito Misto with razor clams, shrimp and fish, mayo and malt vinegar, and a Whitefish Sandwich with coconut slaw and fermented pepper aioli.

The beverage portion of the menu features fun drinks like their Mai Tai, made with tangerine curacao, fresh lime and hazelnut orgeat, and their Blow the Man Down, made with mezcal, yellow chartreuse, campari and bitters. Voyager also offers a wine list, with sparkling, rosé, white and red options. You can also order from their beer list, which features two draft brews and a great list of craft beers, including a Coconut Brown Ale from Blackrocks Brewery.

Need more reason to check out the place? They’ve got a Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, topped with whipped cream, to finish off the meal.

Visit Voyager at 600 Vester St. Tuesday-Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
