Where To Watch the Madness

Where To Watch the Madness

It’s tourney time! Whether you’re downtown for a Sparty Party, representing Maize and Blue or keeping up on your brackets – here are the places to watch the NCAA games.

Round 1 schedule:
Michigan (3) v Montana Grizzlies (14) THURSDAY @ 9:50pm
Michigan State (3) v Bucknell Nison (14) FRIDAY @ 7:10pm

Beacon Park // 1903 Grand River Avenue
Beacon Park is being transformed into a 10,000 sq. ft. sports bar! Grab your best bud and your bracket and head over to Beacon Park to check out all the action on the big screen. Enjoy food, drinks, games and basketball.

Mike’s Pizza Bar // 2515 Woodward
Feel the excitement and energy of the LCA for free at Mike’s Pizza Bar. Get some food, watch the game and enjoy live music.

Sports & Social// 24 Henry St.
Hear the score before you see it on tv, watch the NCAA games at Little Caesars Arena and the ones around the country.

Punch Bowl Social //1331 Broadway
Have a party and don’t worry about cleaning up after. Round up your crew, order some beer, a punch bowl, sharable dishes (may we recommend the Lobster Bacon Fries and roasted cauliflower nachos) and play some games while you watch the game. Karaoke, skeeball, ping pong, darts and bowling – they have it all at Punch Bowl Social.

TAP at MGM Grand// 1777 3rd Avenue
With 40+ HD televisions there’s not a bad seat to watch the game at TAP. And if your bracket busts you can always try your luck on the gaming floor.

The Greek// 535 Monroe St
It’s always a party in Greektown. Watch the game at the Greek and enjoy drink and wings specials!

Thomas Magee’s// 1408 E. Fisher Service
The all or nothing March Madness intensity requires the hard stuff and you can’t go wrong with Michigan-made whiskey.

Nemo’s Bar// 1384 Michigan Avenue
No sports bar list is complete without Nemo’s Bar. A Detroit classic game day stop, grab a beer and enjoy it on the big screen with fellow sports fans.

HopCat// 4265 Woodward
aren’t playing so what you really need is 130 craft beer taps and ‘crack fries’ – HopCat has both and plenty of big screens.

Harry’s Detroit // 2482 Clifford St
Harry’s is always the place to be on game day. See the city and watch the game on the rooftop patio.
